Getting Involved with AYSO

AYSO is a 501c3 non-profit organization, completely run by volunteers.  It takes many hands to ensure your child has the best experience possible.  We offer many opportunities to volunteer, from being on the Board of Directors, helping line fields, working concessions, coaching, refereeing, mowing the grass, etc.  There really is something for everyone!

*Why help out?  Volunteering is an experience you will never forget.  With AYSO, volunteering allows you to spend more time with your kids on a level you may not have been able to before.  It allows you to step into a mentor role, all while having a blast!

*Coaching - we offer AYSO certified coach training for U6-Advanced Coach via online courses, Super Camps, and hands-on field training.  This allows you to be prepared to step into the coaching role, no matter what experience you have.

*Refereeing - AYSO also provides training from Basic Ref to Advanced Ref class.  These are done in a classroom setting with field demonstrations included.  Being a referee is an awesome way to connect with kids on a different level.  It is a way to teach the game, while learning the game yourself.  Did you know all AYSO referees are trained specifically for AYSO officiating?  This means we are able to offer our families referees who are trained to work with kids.  This ensures a child-centered learning environment you won't have anywhere else.

*Board Members - The Board of Directors positions vary but are equally important in Region 902.  There are 7 key positions required by AYSO: RC, Treasurer, Registrar, Safety Director, CVPA (Child Volunteer Protection Advocate), Referee Admin, Coach Admin.  If these roles aren't for you, don't worry, we have more!  There are a variety of ways to help out and we're more than happy to have you on board!!  Simply click on the link below to learn more.

*Our volunteers are Safe Haven & Concussion trained and certified.  Each volunteer is registered and has received a back ground check.

Team Snack Tickets:
Team Snacks are also available at the concession stand. This is a great opportunity to save time and money and help the organization! How does it work?

1. Purchase a ticket for each player before the game ($1.50 per player).

2. Give the tickets to the players after the game and they can get their snack from concessions.

3. Each ticket will allow the player to choose from a variety of snacks and either juice, water or Gatorade.
